How much does it cost to rent a party tent in Northern Virginia?

At Pepe's Party Rental in Stafford, a party tent costs $200 to $1,080 for the day depending on size. The small 10x20 and 15x15 tents are $200 and fit 20 to 30 guests. The 20x20 is $330, the 20x30 is $420, and the High Peak 20x40, the size most backyard graduations and weddings end up choosing, is $530 for 80 to 100 guests. Every price includes professional setup and takedown, and because every tent costs more than $150 on its own, delivery is free within 25 driving miles of our shop. That covers Fredericksburg, Quantico, Dumfries, Manassas and Warrenton.

What's included in a Pepe's tent rental?

The price on the tag covers the whole job. Pepe's Party Rental delivers the tent, our crew installs it, secures it with stakes or weights depending on your surface, and comes back to take it down when the party is over. You don't rent the tent and then pay someone else to put it up. Tents can stay for up to 2 days, and the second day is half price, which is handy for a Saturday graduation party that rolls into a Sunday family lunch. What's not included: sidewalls, lights, heaters, tables and chairs. Those are add-ons, priced below, so you only pay for what your party needs.

Do I need sidewalls, and what do they cost?

Sidewalls cost $25 per 20 ft panel at Pepe's Party Rental, in window or solid white style. Window panels keep the view and let light in. Solid panels block wind and give privacy. You don't have to close every side: two panels on the windward side handle most breezy evenings. To close a tent completely you need 4 panels for a 10x20, 15x15, 20x20, 20x30 or 30x30, 6 panels for a 20x40, 8 for a 20x60 and 10 for a 20x80. Closing a 20x40 all the way adds $150. For an October party in Stafford or Fredericksburg, when evenings cool off fast, walls are money well spent.

How much do lights, heaters and a dance floor add?

The add-ons that change how a tent feels are cheap next to the tent itself. LED string lights are $50 per 120 ft strand and are rated for outdoor rain and wind. An outdoor propane heater is $170 a day and covers a 10 to 15 foot radius, propane included. A smaller patio heater is $75. A dance floor starts at $350 for a 12x12 and goes up to $550 for a 21x21, and it gives you a level surface on grass. A Bluetooth speaker is $65 a day if you don't want to hire a DJ.

Can you set up a tent on grass or concrete?

Yes, both. On grass, the Pepe's crew stakes the tent into the ground, which is the most secure setup. On concrete, asphalt or a patio, where stakes can't go in, the tent is held down with weights instead. Tell us your surface when you book so the right gear comes on the truck. On grass, think about what is underground before party day: sprinklers, septic lines and buried utility lines all matter when stakes go in, and our checkout asks about them for that reason.

What does a whole tent setup cost? Three real budgets

Here is what a complete setup costs at Pepe's Party Rental using our October 2026 prices, before any optional extras.

• 30 guests, backyard birthday: 20x20 tent ($330), 4 round 60-inch tables at $12 ($48), 32 folding chairs at $2 ($64). Total: $442. Or take Party Package #1: 20x20 tent, 6 tables, 48 chairs and a cooler for $480.
• 50 guests, graduation party: 20x30 tent ($420), 6 round 60-inch tables ($72), 50 folding chairs ($100), 120 ft of string lights ($50). Total: $642.
• 90 guests, backyard wedding: High Peak 20x40 ($530), 10 round 60-inch tables ($120), 90 white resin chairs at $4 ($360), 12x12 dance floor ($350), 2 strands of lights ($100). Total: $1,460.

All three are over $150, so delivery is free within 25 miles of Stafford.

How much is tent delivery outside Stafford?

Delivery from Pepe's Party Rental is free within 25 driving miles of our Stafford shop on orders of $150 or more, which every tent rental is. Past 25 miles the fee is set by distance: $35 from 25 to 50 miles, $75 from 50 to 80 miles and $250 from 80 to 120 miles. We don't deliver past 120 miles. By our checkout's own calculator, Fredericksburg (15.6 miles), Quantico, Dumfries, Manassas and Warrenton are free, while Spotsylvania, Woodbridge, Culpeper and King George are $35. How do I book a tent?

Pick the tent online, add any walls, lights, tables and chairs, choose your date and type your address to see the delivery fee. You pay online and the date is yours. There is no separate deposit. Not sure which size? Call Pepe's at (571) 244-5255 and tell us your guest count and your yard. We have been putting tents up across Stafford, Fredericksburg and Northern Virginia since 2013, and we'd rather spend two minutes on the phone than have you squeeze 90 people under a tent built for 50.
